Sparrow House is Jared Van Fleet, who is also the guitarist/keyboardist in Voxtrot. This project began as part of his honors thesis at the University of Texas in Austin. Fleet attempted to record an LP titled Ceremony at the time, but it was never completed. Then in the spring and summer of 2005 Fleet played in the Kerrville Folk Festival and became part of a regular group of artists/bands in the tonewheel collective playing shows, such as some of the order of the owl shows.

Fleet recently finished touring with Voxtrot and released the Falls EP on November 7th, 2006. He intends to follow this first release with three more EPs, each for a different season. The second EP is titled Television Snow and is due out in January according to Sparrow House’s website.
