Biography

The Spinto Band is made up of six young men from Wilmington, Delaware. The group began recording music [in a parent's basement] and self-releasing CDs [to their parents] in 1998 while they were in junior and regular high school. When each one graduated and dispersed into the real world or various universities, they came together for winter and summer breaks to record what would be their first national release, Nice & Nicely Done [2005]. Over the next two years they toured incessantly while writing and arranging Moonwink, their followup to be released in autumn of 2008.

Welcome Spinto Band. It seems like only yesterday Carol Cleveland Sings was hanging out with us lowly SongFighters and now look at you! (well....hanging out with SongFighters, I guess) Anyway, good to see you guys 'round these parts.

I second Glenn about Direct To Helmet. That song encapsulates a lot.

Cool tunes, guys. Do you have two accounts, by the way? I see that there is another account with your exact same name that uploaded a track called "Pumpkins and Paisley" two days ago, and yet here it is again.

Jonathan joins thesixtyone based on something I put on the songfight boards, and you join because of Jonathan? I'm stoked right now.

"Direct to Helmet" is one of the greatest songs that has ever been created by anyone.

ROCK!

Great debut, TSB!
Some standard advice for t61 is: 1) replace the road sign with a photo or strong graphic. Any of yr 3 photos, esp. the graphic or the yellow shirts would work well. Do this ASAP, while yr songs are still on the "Browse > Today" pages. 2) add some bio. Because we care. 3) Stick with these 2 songs initially and let them find their listeners (most of whom are sleeping right now). When you "level up" (which I'll bet is soon) don't be tempted to upload too much. "Bumping" a song costs points, and you don't want to start competing with yourself.
Welcome to t61, and thx for sharing yr music. See you on the Home Page (t61 Nirvana/Heaven)
