biography

This will probably have the most impact if you try and imagine reading it in the voice of the movie preview announcer guy with the deep voice from all the clichéd Hollywood blockbuster trailers...

"In late October 2007, an unlikely partnership was forged. She was a feisty and talented comedian slash fiddle virtuoso. He was a somewhat repulsive but yet still somehow alluring editor slash guitarist. Steering away from the obvious brainchild notion of editing comedy videos, they pooled their creative talents in a different way and decided to form a band. That band eventually became known as… STANDING UP HOLLYWOOD STYLE!!!"

Now it helps if you kind of imagine a dramatic chase scene and driving montage just to end on a high note.

You can read this one in your own voice or perhaps choose a favourite...

I'm a closet red spandex fetishist ...so I couldn't control myself and just had to bump something. The gulls are a nice touch; very ambient!

raaaaar! s'nice, yes, s'nice. I need to start using that punctuation. in my head it sounds like a compliment but written down it looks like a question... how about, I LIKE IT I DO (with a kind of hammed up English Midlands accent done by a Scot)...
