With smooth vocal lines and inviting Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer 200a pianos, Suitcase of Keys is a chilled out rock band with a fresh new sound. That said it’s almost impossible to nail down a specific genre that accurately describes them. The group consists of Zach Fuhrer on vocals/keys, Nolan Green on electric guitar, Daniel Spector on bass, and Hazel Scher on drums. On their eponymous first album (available on iTunes), Suitcase of Keys makes their studio debut as a jazz-influenced rock quartet. Since their EP recording in the fall, the band has further developed its live sound to include various flavors of funk, blues, progressive rock, and soul.
