The Awful Beauty formed in May 2009, when our previous band basically dissolved. We had 5 days of studio time booked for the next month. So, we recorded some drum machine tracks and keyboards at Laurence's house and added the guitars, bass, percussion and singing at the studio. We mixed it ourselves. The result is the mostly homemade charmer, Spectral Orphan. This will be mastered in February 2010. For now, try to enjoy these demos.
