The Befores combine the smooth, sultry vocals of Zareen and the rich arrangements and beats of Humbert. Zareen and Humbert have been performing and writing songs together for the past 5 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have developed a unique sound with a variety of influences from electronic and trip hop bands including Massive Attack, Tricky and Zero 7 and pop, jazz and world music influences reminiscent of Feist, Bjork and Sade.
