I meant it. The lyrics are so on-point and well-written, it makes the song that much more haunting.

Are you working on putting a web site up? Would be great for people to learn more about you and your friend (and maybe help you find a drummer)

YAY! Asylum posted to the frontpage! Congrats! Let's hope the other ones will now get the attention they deserve as well!

i have no idea why your other projects aren't getting any more response than they have. it may be that your barnaby griffin songs should be listed under the "folk" genre rather than alt but the intelligence that i like so much in the exhibits comes across there too. the memes, too, has a good sound to it but there you run into the problem that a lot of instrumental acts here have a hard time getting bumps. as for the wind of piglet, the song "peas" has been in my very first playlist called "why don't more people bump this?" started back in april. i certainly wish you the best. i still don't understand why "asylum" hasn't posted. i certainly hope it one day will.

i don't know about long tendrils of influence. i have a few subscribers and i have been know to send out a few tuneboxes when i find something i like. but really, sometimes it just takes a while for a song or an act to find the right group of listeners to hit. this place is really bigger than it looks. looking at the bumps that came after mine, i see 4 or 5 listeners that might have paid attention to me.

keep writing quality songs and eventually you will reach tje audience you're looking for. take care.

Mega Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller on May 8th. Time or times TBA.

ANY 61 artist who wishes to join in should wall post their song name and band name on KosmikRay 's wall. There are 54 bands confirmed so far and hopefully the number will round out at an even 100.
