Henry Lee Schmidt. Álvaro Sánchez. Nacho García. Alessandro Ambrogio. In three words: the false friends. This band from Madrid turned the spanish Indie-pop scene upside down in the summer of 2007 with their first release, “sweetheart”, a self-edited demo of 5 powerful, fresh-sounding songs. In 2008 they came with their long-awaited debut album: it is called “burn the bridges, break the gates” and it surely won’t leave you indifferent: from the New York Dolls to the Arctic Monkeys, the Sex Pistols or even Johnny Cash, this album just hits the nail on the head.
So what make these boys different from the rest? Everything. Their live performances get you like a punch in the nose, although their melodies and words tell you they believe in love, party and music, lots of music.
… and we all love music, don’t we?
In november 2010 they released their new single "Thank You For The Sun", prelude of what is going to be their second album, which will be released in march/abril 2010.
