Biography

Since forming in 2006, The Host has become a staple of the Hard Rock scene in Cincinnati, Ohio. What started out as a labor of love for the four-piece has become an outright obsession.

"The need to write and perform outweighs anything else in our lives, and we work hard to ensure that everything we do has a special quality to it," says The Host singer, Chris Charlton.

Mega Upload Party Wakers: Two Things for artists...

1. To double check the current Pacific time (and date), just post to a Wall and check the time tag under your name.

2. There will be two ways listeners will find your upload. One will be the normal Browse>activity search, and the other will be thru links to band pages listed on my wall and myktoronto's. Please put your upload in the TOP POSITION of your featured 3-songs, so it can be found quickly.

Thanks and enjoy the bumps, especially if you dance...

hostmasters: The Mega Upload Wake is set for 7 pm -8 pm PACIFIC time. I could not find a time that allowed everyone work or sleep-free periods for all world time zones, without splitting up the upload and diluting the listener pool.

Thus, Michael Paul Miller will be the honorary first upload, followed by 61 t61 artists at one a minute. As you are now #28, try to have your upload drop at 7:28 PM Pacific Time if at all possible. If not, anytime after is OK.

Remember, this is a party and a wake, so Celebrate and Communicate!

What's going on with "Duel Rough Mix"? Was it an older song/recording that didn't make the EP or is just one of the first to be recorded for upcoming EP/LP?

I see it's not on snocap, but the album associated with it is Transmit (no year). The reason I ask is because myspace sound quality isn't all that top notch =p

I think we go on around 9:30. For some reason the e-mail with the schedule is the only e-mail Gmail won't let me read.

Thanks for being part of a great night of live all original Rock. Everyone seemed to enjoy it all as much as I did. I hope we can triple bill again in some other markets or festivals. Keep in touch, and keep the great music flowing out to all who want, need and love it.

Oh, damn. Yea, I'll definitely watch for that. Still bummed I couldn't make it back this weekend, but glad to know April is a possibility. Good luck (or whatever you say in the music biz these days, pre-show) with the show. Based on the following you three bands have on here, it sounds like it'll be pretty huge.

Well, we didn't fair well with the judges this weekend in Cleveland. We brought our A Game as always... but i guess they just didn't hear us loud enough!

This is our last chance to move on to the finals in Atlanta. We're really hoping you could take a few minutes out of your time to vote for us.

Vote Here!

You can vote 5 times, with 5 emails from the same IP, PER DAY!

So those of you with other "family" members at the same location can still vote. Get it?

Thanks for all the support!

Is it better to buy your songs from website, or through myspace/snocap? (which gives you most profit?)
