In 2005, between couch surfing, and without a microphone, they recorded the vocals for "That is your life" on headphones. It's this type of creative desperation which creates the energy within their music.

The Teeter Totters, Chazz (vocals, synth), Chess (synth, drums), and the beautiful Cookie (guitars, vocals) met in high school, and quickly became best friends. They formed a group, and played in garages, house parties, and pubs, sometimes sleeping at the venue.

The Teeter Totters is a story of a band with unbending integrity. They've detoured from the more affordable and popular laptop producing methods, to using vintage electronics to achieve their sound. All of their music is recorded live with as little post production as possible.

Through their ups and downs, they've held on to their freedom, and to each other. It's this in which they value most. Their music is truly a labor of love, struggle, and passion.
