New York City anti-heroes, The Walk Ons, kick out supercharged, hook-riddled tunes that play on in your head long after your ears stop ringing.

Bringing to mind rock and power-pop bands like The Strokes, King of Leon, Franz Ferdinand and The Hold Steady, as well as Combat Rock-era Clash and early Elvis Costello, The Walk Ons put a "Made in Brooklyn" stamp on time-honored Rock n' Roll, played tight and loud with a shit-eating grin.

The Walk Ons' new release, We Did This On Purpose, shows the band delivering a tougher sound laced with dancability and grounded in catchy melodies and tight arrangement. It was produced by New York underground rock legend, Dean Rispler (Bad Wizard, The Little Killers) and recorded and engineered by Jesse Cannon (The Cure, Animal Collective).
