Welcome to the music of TINPOTS. Thank you to everyone for the comments and support.
Oh Yeah was recently featured on BBC 6 music with Tom Robinson - he called the song a real grower...you can download it for free for a limited time.
I thought people would be interested in an ALTERNATIVE VERSION of OH YEAH recorded with the band - in the beautiful surroundings of an organic farm in Kent UK - sun streaming through the Oast house - OH Yeah this could be everything.
We are also in the process of making an exclusive recording especially for the sixtyone - it will be posted shortly.
EXCLUSIVE TRACK FOR THE SIXTY ONE...
Dead Cat has been recorded specially for the sixty one - live. It tells the mysterious story of a cat found at the side of the road.
Glad so many people enjoy meaning of years - we will be putting up some more music soon...
So here we are - just a little is a track recorded a while ago in an old swimming baths - converted to a studio - on the east India dock road in London.
Lots of new recording is going on at the moment - some of the results will be posted here shortly...

biography
TINPOTS play the songs of Philip Davis. A variety of musical styles and musicians ensure an eclectic mix of folky, pop tinged, Funky keyed, brassy, stringed and beautifully melodic songs. Harmonies will float around in your head long after the disc has stopped spinning. Described by Time out London as 'Deftly accomplished'. The live show is always a surprise - sometimes full blown 12 piece - others a sweet duo - with guitar and voices. All the albums are self produced and recorded in London and Wales.
It is always changing - never still...visit the official website - www.tinpots.com for more news.
The latest album - SOFTHEAD - features Philip Davis on vocals and guitars, Becky Found on Vocals, Jon Greening on Keys, Sean Randle on Drums, Chris Petter on Trombone and T chest Bass, Dave Fulwood on Trumpet, Jon Petter on Clarinet and Bass Clarinet and percussion, Jaime Greening on Vocals and Nicki Devon on Violin.
SOFTHEAD is getting some glowing reviews - here is the latest from toxicpete.co.uk -
Acoustic/alternative is how Tinpots are described - that just about sums them up!!

Tinpots are a transient collective based around the writings of Philip Davis; from solo to multi-music... (+) expand

What a beautiful song The Meaning of Years is! Insightful lyrics, good instrumentals and arrangement, and your voice is perfect for it. Congratulations and thanks.

You guys are great. The vocals, instruments, and melodies unite in perfect harmony. I especially enjoy "take them in."
