TOM LYNN

Edmond, OK

about +
I started playing music way back in the 6th grade when my parents enrolled me to learn trumpet. That eventually grew to encompass tuba and trombone in high school.
In my sophomore year of high school my aunt gave me an electric guitar for Christmas and my house has not been quiet since. I immediately began trying to find spots in bands for a mediocre singing guitarist, and eventually landed a gig filling the spot for a celtic-punk band then called the Rivers.
After playing guitar, banjo, trumpet and tin-whistle on their debut album, I quit the band to focus on my first year at college, but returned the next summer in time to headline for a local Celtic music festival.
After leaving the band for good in late 2008, I began pursuing solo music production, teaching myself drums and spending every last dime on instruments and recording gear.
I'm still learning how the whole recording process works, so any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!
