Little E and the giant R's met 2 years ago and brought back their hands and voices together, giving birth with a little help from Smudie, a few friends and a few children too, birds, roosters and bees to - One 5 tracks EP named "GOODBYE GHOSTS" in 2008 - and soon One Album to be releasedaround March or April 2010. ONe part of eliotE & The Ritournelles plays the guitar and the trumpet, is very serious with choir's arrangements, listens to Paul mc Cartney, Nick Drake, Shellac, Deerhoof and Guns'n'Roses, ANOther part of the band is truly comitted to the 90's spirit classics, as long as Neil Young's and some Bonnie Prince Billy's side projects, likes to mess with a lot of toys instruments and guitars, ANd the last part of this 3 mouths band sings along most of the time and plays little drums' instruments, learned to sing by listening to Ella Fitzgerald, listens to every guitar playing and singing along bands (From Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Sybille Baïer, Nick Drake to Ane Brun, Marissa Nadler, Bon Iver, Joanna Newsom, Jolie Holland) and other great musicians like Patrick Watson, Sufjan Stevens and The Dirty Projectors, but also recently got into a wild passion for 80's band such as Devo, Television and The Talking Heads.
