Alan dropped out of the music scene to pursue a (more lucrative) career in computing, but still kept his hand in.
In 2005, my wife invited me to Coastfest and I met some wonderful folks there. This lead to my getting involved in the following year's Coastfest (doing sound engineering in the bar) as well as with the fantastic folks at Brackets and Jam. I've been helping out with sound for the North monthly event and have started doing a couple of walk-ups, getting my confidence back.
I mainly muck around with a nice little Electric Acoustic Vantage, but I've been known to pull out the Gibson L-6S Deluxe on the odd occasion.
I am now doing live music into Second Life under the name Tpenta Vanalten, and I am having a blast and making a lot of new musician friends.
