Man, your voice is so soothing, I want to listen to it all the time. I think I'm pretty much in love with you. Wish you had a couple original songs up, but your covers are absolutely beautiful.

well, first and foremost (and this is something i do all the time) don't put yourself down! i do that sometimes when i get up on stage, sometimes i'll even apologize after a song, and that just makes people feel awkward, and it also makes them think that maybe if you're putting yourself down then you aren't that good and they shouldn't enjoy your music. now, i put myself down because i honestly think i'm no good, but that doesn't make it ok, if i'm gonna go out there and play i've gotta try to be confident. at least that's what people are always telling me, and now i'm telling you! lol.

onto the songs. i don't really feel qualified to critique or anything, so i'll just tell you what i think? i really like them. both. how long have you been writing? you play well, and i like the chord progressions and the melodies a lot. they're mellow, simple, but not overly simple and very melodic, i'm a sucker for that kinda stuff. i like the lyrics too, good work. the recording quality also is really good, especially for what i'm assuming is a simple setup?

well anyway, if i had to give you some criticisms or just like, ideas on how to improve, all i'd say is to keep writing and keep recording. i really like how they sound, but you'll get better every time you record a song, you'll get more confident. right now it sounds like your voice is a little shaky, maybe due to nervousness or due to not singing very often, or maybe that's just how your voice sounds (which is totally fine, one of my favorite groups called "travis" the lead singer has a really wavy voice and it fits).

anyway, i guess what i'm trying to say is that your songs are really good, there's nothing that i can think of to say like "that's wrong" or "this could be improved by doing this" or anything like that. just the more your write the better you'll get and the more you record the more polished and refined the final product will be. i'm looking forward to hearing more, keep it up :)
