Biography


UltraCat is a house music project started in March 2008 by Yuriko Miyamoto and Jonah Dempcy. Yuriko has a background as an artist, designer and multi-instrumentalist. Jonah's background includes the electronic-jazz project Revolution Void and collaborations with musicians such as Michael Shrieve (Santana) and Matthew Garrison (Herbie Hancock's Future2Future band).

Together, they produce music which draws from house roots in disco as well as contemporar... (+) expand

Very good! Your music is very energetic, but at the same time one could chill out to it. In other words, I think you have a nice balance in your music. Love it!

* 5/17/08: We just finished a new track called 'Orbiting the Earth.' The track was essentially done last week but it took a while to mix and master. We put the finishing touches in the studio tonight and literally as soon as it was done, uploaded it to thesixtyone. Enjoy!
