Van Wampler is the lead singer and keyboard player for Ivory Drive.

Van and Ivory Drive are very sad about the demise of T61. At the moment, there are no other outlets for Van's solo work, but check the Ivory Drive web site for information. Van still plans to release additional solo songs. It has been a great trip - will miss you all.



A savory stew of rock-n-roll, flavored with jazz, blues, new age, and swing, Van Wampler’s songs delight your musical palate. Van creates sing-along ballads, mellow rock, foot tapping jazz, and new age instrumentals. His lyrics speak with passion about love, life, tragedy, and hope.

Van has been writing music since he was 13. In 2007, he started Ivory Drive in Boulder, CO. He has written the lyrics for all of Ivory Drive's songs to date, and the music for all but two. While Van's main efforts are focused on Ivory Drive, there are several of his songs that the band doesn't regularly play.

He plans to release an as yet to be determined number of his singer/songwriter and instrumental songs here on T61 under his own name. Hope you like them!
