Back in the day, Variable was born and bred in Seattle. While having extremely diverse influences, Variable's music is Pop/Rock oriented. Strong melody, great hooks, intricate musicianship and lyrics that paint scenic mental images define Variable's music. While Variable may be lost, he is right on track, finding his way into the heads and hearts of his listeners.

Variables most recent path has been one of finding the means and methods of releasing his music to the world. "As High as the Moon" is just that, the title track of his upcoming album release. Variable Lost is proud to note that The Sixtyone will be home base for all the Variable Lost releases as they come off the mastering desk! All the music, "noise design", vocals, lyrics and programming are generated by one man, Variable. His background is diverse yet common, extreme yet sheltered. Variable started the main thrust of his career as a session and cover band bassist. In the 90's, Variable tried his hand at the dreaded six string guitar and found a renewed love for playing and writing. The Variable Lost project is the reflection of Variables move to guitar and the writing that has been done since the shift. You'll soon hear super hot examples of what Variable has done with his fiery red Stratacaster in songs like "Bleed to Red" and an instrumental track called "Forever Deep"
