Armed with an acoustic guitar and a voice as smooth as Sinatra, the contrast between his deeply emotive and comedic lyrics position Vorn Doolette as one of Australia's truly unique young musicians.

Born and based in South Australia, Vorn has become a sought after performer and though taking things one step at a time he has enjoyed minor successes along the way such as being named one of the youngest ever recipient of the ‘Lis Johnston Award' for Vocal Excellence at the 2005 National Folk Festival and in 2008, winning the Triple J 'Top Song' competition for his broken hearted '9 Songs a Problem'.

Vorn is getting ready to release his debut, self-titled album - a piece of art that has been two-years in the making and of which he is very proud.
