I fell in love with jazz before I started elementary school and asked for saxophone lessons before my hands were big enough to fit the instrument. Following this love affair, I completed my undergrad studies and am now trying to start a career and continue to study this art I love so much.

So far, I have had the joy of playing with greats like David Sanchez, Nicholas Payton, John Fedchock, Kevin Mahogany, and with The Jacam Manricks Group at the Southbank Jazz Festival in Queensland, Australia.

Creating bands gives me the freedom to compose and perform the original works that I hope shows my personality by combining jazz with funk and indie rock. The compositions posted here feature my most recent group, KUDZU, consisting of musicians from Chicago, St. Louis, Thailand, Denver, and Atlanta.
