Hello. :)

My name is Damon Hayes. I am an 18 year old guitarist/composer from Anaheim, California in the United States.

I was given the gift of music pretty early in life. My father, who was an underground heavy metal guitarist, spent time teaching me how to play simple tunes on the keyboard at the age of four. My mother, a singer, would encourage me to sing songs with her in the car.

I started playing guitar at the age of 14, when I was finally struck by the realization that it would be fun to play a song or two. I started by playing the songs of some of my favorite bands AT THE TIME(Disturbed, Pantera, etc). The quality of my playing improved significantly with the inspiration provided by Joe Satriani and John Petrucci. Now, I compose and record songs of my own.

I know all music I have provided thusfar is instrumental, and I know it's hard for some people to enjoy at first. I only ask that you try to maintain an open mindset about the music I make and make your own interpretation about what the songs mean to you. Enjoy, it's my gift to you.

Anyways, that's me. I should be recording more music soon, maybe even some songs with lyrical content.
