In the fall of 1986, a group of eight freshmen embarked on a mission to create an alternative to traditional a cappella at Yale. That group would come to be known as Out of the Blue.

Since its founding, OOTB has traded white gloves and coattails for a dynamic performance style that continues to thrill audiences around the world. Whether we're rocking out on the beach in Jamaica, ear training in rehearsal, or eating cheesy garlic bread at Yorkside at midnight, the Out of the Blue family can always be counted on for great music and great times!
