I just made 90 percent of our songs available to be downloaded for free. The one's that aren't, are in the process of being rerecorded (or are going to be remixed), and will be available for free download soon! If you are in Los Angeles on August 24th we're competing in Guitar Center's battle of the bands at the 705 club. If you are interested shoot me an email at troubleinthewind@gmail.com and I’ll get you all the details. Lastly, if you haven't already, check out my solo stuff at http://www.thesixtyone.com/#/Ryanstavern/ -Ryan

Hi. Just thought I'd let you know that we'll be posting a track to T61 today at 1:03pm (CDT). The song is "You Hung the Moon." Come by and take a listen...if you dare.

On a completely separate note: The combination "ough" can be pronounced in nine different ways. The following sentence contains them all:
"A rough-coated, dough-faced, thoughtful ploughman strode through the streets of Scarborough; after falling into a slough, he coughed and hiccoughed."

awhile back, 61 went thru some changes...and many artists and listeners lost A LOT of points and levels, however, with some hard work and interesting selections of my originals (some covers) i've managed to get CLOSE to level 14 (not quite w here i was before which was much higher)...so come bump the new material, give it a swirl in your ears ...

OK...we're posting up a new song today at 12:34pm (Central Daylight Time). It's called "Heroes." If you're feelin' bumpy, be there.

I mean...if ya wanna.

No pressure.

We uploaded a new track, "Another Day," to our t61 page a little earlier today. See what you think...

So...here's a bit of forewarning, you mad bumper you. We'll be uploading a new tune, "Big Black Car," to T61 sometime around 12:06pm (CDT) today. It's a happy-go-lucky murder song with a fun beat. It's also a track from our latest CD, The Center of the Universe, which is currently being featured as a "recommended CD" in the April issue of Paste Magazine...which makes us very happy.

You can, in fact, listen to our music at a Paste listening station in your local indie music shop. While doing so, feel free to exclaim loudly, jump up and down and make generally orgasmic faces. This will make the store manager very happy. (Us too.)

"Enough with the shameless self promotion already," you're probably muttering to yourself between whispered curses. "Get your poncy verbiage off my comment wall, you twittering hack."

All right already. Just throw a few bumps our way if ya like what ya hear...OK?

Hello dear Zuba listener

Our dear friend mbjorgen has been reaaaaaly nice and helpfull to us yesterday in 2 ways:
1. She changed her vote for Mes Fantomes so finally we've got a winner and it's from now on downloadable for a week, feel free to add it to your personal collection!
2. She revived Hail Africa for it to go on the home page, so, be nice with her (and us of course ;-D) and bump it up!!!

A few bumps would be nice anyway because we'd looooove to share more songs with you, but unfortunately we need to beg for bumpybumpies becos we're stuck on level 13... even our friends Cactus Bob are now in front of us again!!! (cheeky blink blink blink)

Thanks for the support

I like to promote the music of my friends when I believe in their material. There's one singer that I should have already been telling everybody about a long time ago, but she has the disadvantage of having me doing the mixing, mastering and music for her songs.

Please allow me to direct your attention to my wife's page on thesixtyone, and our page as well. I have just posted songs on both profiles.

Rachael Layne on thesixtyone
Glenn and Rachael on thesixtyone

"Presenting to You" was created for a benefit CD that should be available again in the near future. The website needs to be revamped.

"Need Stilts" is often considered to be one of the greatest songs I have ever taken part in writing.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

ROCK!

We stole this tactic from our good friends at Zuba haha! Cactus needs your help! We’re a long ways from level 13, and could use a little nudge to get us there. If you can’t help us out, don’t worry about it, we still appreciate all of the support you’ve given us! We have been saving our song called “golden”, which is one of the best songs we have! It’s actually the only song that we’ve tracked in the studio, so the quality is much better. I put up the only three songs that we have that haven’t hit the home page, on our main page. Lastly, if you want a couple of tracks (or a couple more) to own for free, send me an email at cactusbobband@gmail.com with the track names, and I’ll upload them to you! Thanks again for listening, and for all of the support! -Ryan

Hello dear listener ;)
First, thank you very much for your support.
As, you might have noticed, We're stucked in level 10, unable to upload any new song(s) :(
So here's a deal, if you can bump us up a wee bit more, that will help us providing you some more Bassa Beat... if you can't... nae bother, the deal will be the same!
So, hit us in our tunebox with the track from us you would like to download for free and the track which comes back to us the more often will be downloadable for a week whenever we reach level 11.
Hope it's an okay deal!
