Years of Rice and Salt is a 6-piece instrumental post rock band based in London, United Kingdom.

They were formed in Summer ‘08 and released their debut EP entitled Service Bell EP on 31st January 2009, which was a themed collection of songs navigating the timeline of a shipwreck through music.

Their first full-length album, entitled Nothing of Cities, was released in April 2011.
