SUBSCRIBER ALERT!

The sixty-one MEGA Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller is set to go off from 7 to 8 pm Pacific Time on Thursday, May the 8th. With 61+ artists slated, it should average about one new tune per minute, and there will be additional uploads hours later due to late uploads. Check KosmikRay 's Wallzine listing of the 61 official artists for your favorite bands, and let your favs know they are welcome to "crash" it and upload then if they didn't get the word in time. Also, feel free to let anyone you tunebox with in on it, as it is open to ALL artists and ALL listeners.
Enjoy the music, as we celebrate for Mike...

***please post a copy of this notice on friends or subscribers walls...we need to get the word out.

CloverRex recently revived our song "Good as Gold." It's one of the very first songs we posted here on T61 a while back...I'm glad to see it's getting another shot at "the big time." If you get a chance, check it out.

Oh, by the way, don't be alarmed by the numerous backwards messages buried deep within the mix of the song. We're just subliminally encouraging you to get plenty of fiber in your diet. And check the air pressure in your tires regularly. And floss. No big deal, seriously.

Just flow with it.

I like to promote the music of my friends when I believe in their material. There's one singer that I should have already been telling everybody about a long time ago, but she has the disadvantage of having me doing the mixing, mastering and music for her songs.

Please allow me to direct your attention to my wife's page on thesixtyone, and our page as well. I have just posted songs on both profiles.

"Presenting to You" was created for a benefit CD that should be availalbe again in the near future. The website needs to be revamped.

"Need Stilts" is often considered to be one of the greatest songs I have ever taken part in writing.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hey there,

Deshead's a friend of mine from Songfight. He's better than his bump and listener stats reflect.

He also just uploaded a new song called "Nothing Left". I like it, I bumped it several times, and maybe you'll like it too. That's why I am telling you about it.

ROCK!

You have shown some serious support for me on this website, and I wanted to be sure to thank you for that. Seriously, check out these stats:

Georgia's Hand = 7 bumps
Go Home, Please = 1 bump
Glutton = 3 bumps
I Fell Flat = 9 bumps
I'm Only Sleeping = 8 bumps
Say Yes = 2 bumps
Sea of Zombies = 1 bump
Take on Me = 4 bumps
Wedding Song = 1 bump
Total = 36 bumps

You have also taken the time to leave comments on "Go Home, Please", "I Fell Flat" and "I'm Only Sleeping".

It goes without saying that you absolutely rock!

I won't be putting any new songs on here for a long time. I'm BEYOND maxed out with 21 songs. I will have to reach level 20 to put up anything new, and the highest rated artist is at level 17 right now. It's safe to say it's going to be a while.

Then again, 21 songs is a probably a lot to absorb. Should you choose to hear more, you can!

Thanks again for your support.

DAY 509
Brother Machine - I Had a Dream
From "No Home in this World"

When I think of musicians that I have met, it baffles my mind that some of them aren't playing to packed arenas worldwide. As far as I can tell, Brother Machine is the whole package, and should be a household name. Seth is a great singer, a great songwriter, and a great live performer at the very LEAST. He puts out better music than a lot of signed artists that I hear.

That's why I am thrilled to announce that I convinced Bro Mac to join thesixtyone. It may not be the key to super-stardom, but at least more people will hear this music, which is great beacuse it is music that is WORTH YOUR TIME. I urge you to check it out.

You should be able to listen to "I Had a Dream" on the Brother Machine's Myspace page.

Hey there,

8 days ago I uploaded a song called "I Fell Flat", and you bumped it. Thank you for doing that. It hasn't exactly taken off, but I'm hoping that will change with the new edit I uploaded last night. It has new vocals that I recorded last night, and hopefully that will help.

Here I am again!

"Georgia's Hand" hit the front page today, and you bumped the song before that happened.

For this reason I would like to express my gratitude. Thank you very much for helping to make this happen.

Accidentally left that last comment with my listener profile, but I assure you: it's still me. Sorry for the additional clutter on here. I should really think about cleaning up after myself. (Can't seem to delete it, 'though)

Your bumps and kind comments are welcomed, and appreciated. Thank you!

It goes without saying that I also like the name. While similar to my own name, it is technically much more l33t.

Hopefully you will continue to enjoy some of the future songs that I upload, but in the event that you have heard all that you need to hear of my material? Thank you for at least checking it out. The fact that you like some of it is a bonus for sure.

ROCK!
