Great wines are valued even in uncertain times like these. One which should suit all your needs and wishes is a Viognier, a white wine, grown mostly in Australia, South Africa and California. That vine isn't easy to cultivate, it needs certain types of soil and looooooots of sun. The particular one I have in mind is from CA. And even now, three years after this holy gift of Gaia blessed my taste buds, I still remember it well. It is called "Miner Viognier" and may be described as follows: This is a totally feminine wine with notes of honey and orange blossom. If you are looking to try a floral wine, this is it. And with under $ 20 it's not that expensive. Normally I'm more into red wine, but this one really is great.

Any preference of origin? The vast cellars below my seaside villa (on a cliff, mind you) hold most proveniences with the exclusion of France. Got really sick after too much Bordeaux once. Threw all those cursed bottles over the cliff. Some may still be intact though somewhere down on the bottom of the ocean.
