New song posted!

Boys (Lovin' Each Other) feat. Benny Satchel of The Tahj Commentary!

The first hip-hop effort EVER DROPPED BY CHRIS MERRITT!

It might be hard to believe, but the rap in this track was ALL FREESTYLE.

Friendship.

The Singularity (1998)

The Singularity is growing near!
I could well be crazy, well we'll see in 15 years.
My girl in high school wasn't all that smart.
I took all her albums when she broke my little 16-year-old heart.
Most were trash except Our Lady Peace.
I was hooked and purchased Spiritual Machines.
Nerd in library, it caught my eye:
Book with same said title by this Kurzweil guy.
The Singularity is growing nigh!
I could be immortal by the time I'm 65.

No way to tell, but I'm telling you, wait for.
Witness a miracle, whip out my wi-fi.
You look foolish, dude. You don't mean to, but you do. I'm telling you, my science they'll prove.

biography
www.chrismerrittmusic.com

hi, i'm chris. i write songs about the mafia, physics and biology, the singularity, heartbreak, fist fights, my friend's sisters, british comedians, mormon bikers, stevie wonder, rivers cuomo, and elvis costello.

i'll be running my page here personally now.

thanks for listening to the music that i play from my fucking heart.

"Chris never shook hands with a melody that wasn't beautiful. His fingers dance on the keys, a melodic pas de deux, with fantastic results." -Lines Through Lines

CHRISTOPHER!!! May I do some recommending to you (there may be a way but I haven't figured it out yet) the band is I Fight Dragons, i discovered them here but they use samples from the NES and thought it'd be right up your alley. You may already know them but if you don't, have a gander.
