Born to a fishermans daughter in Bath, Maine, I grew up with folk rock all around- but never participated as a child. After Maine proved to be a stalemate for us, my parents,my two brothers and I moved to sunny Florida to start all over again. It was here that I began to develop a true sense of music, using it as an escape of sorts.
After years of musical immersion I realized that I may be able to emote my views on life and its ups and downs best with an instrument. So, at the ripe age of 20, I picked up a guitar and just started playing; and soon after, singing. After a few months of frustration, I wrote my first song, and from then on I never looked back.
Now, at the age of 24, I feel my music has matured enough to share with the world. My music is entirely recorded at my home with low budget gear; but I have enough to keep me happy.
So here I am. And there you are. So let's be ourselves, 'cause everyone else is taken.
