To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

Carlos Bertonatti grew up between his native Caracas, Venezuela, the ski slopes of Bariloche, Argentina, and his current home, Miami, fl.

To indulge his passion for music, Carlos began playing guitar as a teenager and slowly but surely has captured the hearts of many with his uniquely sexy voice and his captivating looks.

In 2006, Carlos teamed up with Miami based multi-platinum producer Chris Rodriguez who immediately recognized his talent and began the recording process. They have been writing and creating albums compiled of great catchy songs that mix eclectic instrumentation, and Latin percussion.

Currently: Working on his latest album which promises to be even better than the last!

I'm digging Summer Daze. The sound makes me think of Southern California, and the lyrics make me think of Australia. The only way this song could sound better (other than live), would be listening to this while living somewhere cold. If you're shoveling snow this time of year, this would be the ideal song to listen to.

Meaning I had you featured on my page 3 songs to try to get you more listeners. Even if I only got you one I'd be happy. I do this for artists that i like at least 75% of their songs and yours so far I like 100% . Now I'm featuring - two seconds away - and one of their best songs - City Lights.
