Dale Marsh (aka TallGuy Kidd in Second Life) was born in rural West Texas close to the New Mexico border and came into this world in a pair of faded Wrangler jeans, some crazy shirt and high top shoes. Some of Dale's early musical influences were Peter, Paul and Mary, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Joni Mitchell, and all those folks writing and performing music that expected you to take a look at the world around you as well as what's inside your heart.
This becomes evident when listening to the lyrics of Dale's songs that sometimes have you tapping your foot and smiling one moment or pulling at your heart with raw emotion the next. His fans have recently dubbed his music as “Folklectic Acoustic” and are rapidly growing in number within Second Life. Many live music concerts are held within Second Life, and Dale is kept busy with concert requests and spending time with his newfound friends and fans.
These days, Dale can still be found in faded Wrangler jeans and crazy shirts making fans and playing wherever people gather to hear contemporary folk music be it coffee house, house concert, campfire, or internet venue.
