Gabby Banzon's music has been described as a mix of Ben Folds, Regina Spektor, Jamie Cullum, and various alternatively popping indie rock bands. Being a native of Chicago and a current resident of Atlanta, her style is influenced by the many styles of these cities.
Her current release of her homemade EP, "Forget the Formalities" has been a hit amongst listeners of all walks of life. Some songs feature a few of her friends, with Zach Karamallakis on the electric, Myra Villagracia on the harmonies, and Louis Raffaele on the tambo (although he also plays a mean blues guitar). With songs ranging from the genres of pop to rap to instrumental, this EP is surely worth a listen.
Last year, she relased an album called "Utter Infamy." This was her first album and did not have the best audio quality, but critics say that there was definitely some talent growing there. She made that CD with John Restivo, from the Blackline, and, once again, Zach Karamallakis. Gabby has also won various awards in art competitions for various musical compositions.
Gabby would love to end this short, but sweet biography with some sort of motivational or inspirational saying, but she currently can't think of anything. So, enjoy the music and hit me up with a message to learn more.
