Music is my passion and I have been fascinated and intrigued by it for as long as I can remember.
My quest in music began early, around the age of four, when I started training in Carnatic classical music under the tutelage of Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan. For the last five years, I have been a student of both Hindustani and Carnatic classical music, under the renowned vocalist and teacher Sri Ramamoorthy Rao.
I have traversed various genres of music, western as well as Indian, and I have always returned to Indian classical forms. I find our system of music to be a bottomless ocean - the more I learn, the more I feel there is to learn - it is a most humbling experience. I consider myself very fortunate that my guru, family, and friends have made this journey possible by supporting and encouraging me along my path. Words are not enough to express my gratitude.
I have completed my Masters in Psychology and an MBA in Corporate
Communication. I have also completed my sixth grade in classical guitar performance and theory from the Trinity College of London and am currently working to complete my eighth grade.
