All three boys spending their childhoods in California, Michael Garner and Dan Chang grew up in Danville, where they discovered their love for music. With Michael on keys and Dan on guitar, their paths would cross later in life at UCLA, where they met and sang with drummer Matt Frankel in Awaken A cappella. Matt, growing up literally a few towns away would be invited over for back to back sleepovers during school holidays where they'd fight for spots on the swings, slides, and the new girl in the sandbox. The band started at UCLA, where huge support among the students and of course their mothers, helped them continue their passion for music. Sharing a love for grass stains and insomnia, these three good ole all american boys have come together to create music armed with a guitar, piano, cajon, aww-inducing lyrics, and sweet blending harmonies. Michael, a 9th grade math teacher, Dan, a financial analyst and graduate student, and Matt, an actor, know that their music filled futures will include playing together for the rest of their lives!
